D5's brief was to create a bright, vibrant medical facility comprising a treatment room, consulting rooms, waiting area with a training/ conference room and new call centre. The consulting rooms, with additional treatment room, now provides an improved facility for day case, minor operations and waiting list initiatives, thus expanding Badger’s capabilities. The solution to the brief, in line with the guidance set out in HBN10 and HBN 12 for treatment and consulting facilities, was to provide modern, high specification accommodation catering for the needs of the entire medical team and their patients. Every detail was considered from medical storage, lighting to anti-bacterial finishes. The result is a spacious, cleanly area, that is pleasant to work in whilst providing every facility to carry out patient care to the highest standards.
