Developed to detail design stage, the pier extension is designed to serve 8 Code C aircraft stands with forward holding lounge, retail and back-up accommodation for arriving and departing passengers. The scheme is conceived as a wrapping form enclosing a primary lounge space designed to be an intuitive user experience without reliance on signage or directional markers. The building will accommodate up to 1250 passengers and utilises a high degree of natural daylight to create a relaxing and comfortable traveling experience.
