Following an in depth feasibility study, D5 were appointed as lead consultant for the project. The project was funded through a number of bodies including the Millennium Commission, Arts Lottery, European Regional Development Fund and Birmingham City Council.
The resource centre was completed in two phases and provides general community services including employment resources, social and welfare facilities, business incubation units, training in radio and information technology. The centre also houses its own radio broadcasting station and a street level cafe.
